Heartworm Preventatives - Feline


In accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Companion Animal Parasitic Council's (CAPC) we recommend year-round treatment with broad-spectrum heartworm anthelmintics that have activity against parasites with zoonotic (transmitted from animals to people) potential.

If year-round heartworm preventative/intestinal parasite combination products are not used, the risks of parasitism in pets as well as zoonotic parasite transmission are increased.
